Love River
The Love River has been an emotional inspiration to the city for hundreds of years. It displays various features in different seasons and offers a different atmosphere during the day then at night. The shaded park along the river is a favorite location for Kaoshiungˇ¦s residents to rest and relax.
 
 
Hsitzu Beach
Hsitzu Beach is located on the southwest side of Soushan, about a 10 minutes drive from the hotel. This is a famous location to view the great natural beauty of the city. The salty smell of the sea breeze, the sun sets, and the lights of the boats attract a large number of visitors.
 
 
 

Chichin Island
The Island can be reached from the city either by ferry or through the Harbor Tunnel. Chichin is the only place on Taiwan where you can experience a ride in a three-wheel pedicab powered by men in traditional Chinese costumes. Other attractions include Chichin Beach Park, Chichin Cannon, Chichin Lighthouse, and the Chichin Tienhou Temple.

 
 
 
Chai Shan Park
Chai Shan Park is a multi-faceted resort inside Kaoshiung City. It has a large variety of animals and plants. In addition, shaded pathways lead to the forest and the top of the mountain. The view of Kaoshiung from the top of Chai Shan Park is a special treat, especially at night.
 
 
 
National Science and Technology Museum
The museum is the largest educational institution in southern Taiwan. There are 18 exhibition halls divided into four groups: Scientific History, Information and Energy, Technology, and Commodities & Machinery.
 
 
 
Chiang Kai-Shek Cultural Center
The Cultural Center, located on Wu Fu First Road, offers a variety of cultural and artistic activities. The exterior design of the building is of traditional Chinese style, which fully expresses the aesthetics of Chinese classical architecture. Located inside the Center is the National Concert Hall that offers a diverse range of performances and exhibitions.
 
 
 
Kaoshiung Museum of Fine Arts
The museum is one of the newest tourist attractions in Kaoshiung. It is located in the Neiweipei Cultural Park and its design offers diverse styles of sculptures. A large number of international exhibitions are held in the different museum galleries that offers the public an opportunity to appreciate and understand a unique collection of fine arts.
 
 
 
Lotus Lake
This lovely man made lake, which covers an area of 42 hectares, is situated between Kueishan and Panpingshan. In the surrounding area, there are various Chinese style temples. The combination of temples and the ambiance of the lake reveal the unique flavor of South Taiwanˇ¦s culture. On weekends and holidays, it is a favorite destination of locals and tourist, especially at night.
 
 
 
Chengching Lake
Chengching Lake is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kaoshiung County. It has become a multi-functional tourist park with its natural scenery and aquariums. A variety of activities are available including row boating, horseback riding, and camping.
 
 
 
Fo Guang Shan
Fo Guang Shan is situated in the suburbs of Kaoshiung. It is the largest Buddhist sanctuary in Kaoshiung County. Master Hsing Yun founded Fo Guang Shan in 1967. There are four major temples on the mountain; Great Compassion Shrine, Great Buddha Land, Ksitigarbha Shrine, and Samantabhadra Shrine. Fo Guang Shan offers numerous exhibition rooms where you can discover a variety of old Buddhist treasures. The Master opened the mountain to the public to allow them to enjoy a pure environment and experience and practice the mystery of Buddhism.
